The brand is constantly innovating to offer guests greater modernity, comfort and availability. This approach was behind the revolutionary Sweet Bed™ by ibis concept, inviting designer communal areas, the modern dining space ibis Kitchen and a service commitment that inspires all staff. ibis is known across the world for quality, reliability and a commitment to the environment. Since its establishment in 1974, ibis has grown to become the European market leader in the budget hotel segment. With more than 2,639 hotels (as at Dec. 2021) in 66 different countries around the world, the brand is the fourth-largest in its category in the world and first in Europe.

About Mercure

Mercure hotels are located largely in town centres and near stations and airports. They are firmly rooted in their regions but meet an international quality standard. This means that the look and layout of the hotels vary, but the amenities and service are standardised. At the higher end of the mid-range segment, most of the hotels have their own restaurant serving both local and international cuisine. Many have a hotel bar, and an extensive wine list is typical of Mercure ("Mercure Weinlese" wine tasting). The majority of Mercure hotels have three or four stars.
